I recently moved into a brownstone with a decrepit old clawfoot bathtub that I really wanted to keep but did not know where to turn to have it restored.  A friend recommended Al & Dave & Son to refinish it.  When the owner came to give the estimate he laughed and said “I’ve seen worse, no problem I can fix it”.  And, fix it he did!  The tub was reglazed and now it is beautiful!  He was polite, professional, finished the work on time and left my bathroom immaculate!

I first heard about Al & Dave & Son in the “Best of New York” 2010 magazine article.

My pre-war bathroom needed some help but a complete renovation was just too complicated so I decided to have it refinished.  The owner was “hands on” the job from the estimate to completion and delivered as promised.  They stripped off the old glaze, removed the old grout, regrouted and reglazed and in the process uncovered some beautiful decorative tiles that had been hidden under the old glaze.

Their work is flawless and I couldn’t be happier.
